After an extensive search process, the ART 321-Casper Artists' Guild Executive Director Search Committee and ART 321 Board of Directors are excited to announce that we have chosen Laura Hunter as the new Executive Director of ART 321.

The Search Committee received over 15 applications from all over the region for the Executive Director position. Through this process, it became increasingly clear that Laura possesses the skills, experience, and expertise to guide ART 321. According to Laura, "This is an exciting year for ART 321. Several events are planned to celebrate the 100 Year Anniversary of The Casper Artist's Guild (DBA as Art 321). I am honored to be chosen to lead the organization along with the Board of Directors to fulfill our mission."

               Laura has unique work experience as a successful artist and creative business owner. She has been serving as the transition coordinator during the Executive Director search, and the experience convinced her to apply for the position. Laura's commitment to ART 321 is ongoing; she has served as a member, volunteer, and past Board Chair. Jennifer Deurloo, current Board Chair, said, "Laura's passionate dedication to the members we serve is her reason 'Why'. Her care and concern for every person who walks through the door is evident in her decisions. Laura is the ideal individual for the role of Executive Director, and we are confident that under Laura's leadership, Art 321 will thrive."

                              We invite you to join us this Thursday, April 4th, at 5:30 for the April Artist's Reception at ART 321. This will be a special occasion as we welcome Laura Hunter, our new Executive Director, and celebrate the opening of "Where Imagination Meets Fabric" by Laura Heine and "Wyoming Vignettes" by Marianne Vinich and Lynda German. We can't wait to celebrate this special moment for Art 321.
