Weekly Classes & Groups

Here, at Art321, we offer weekly classes for Clay, Mixed Media, and Watercolor, as well as, classes for Teens, Children, and Members of our Community with Disabilities!

These classes & groups are a platform for artists to bond, share ideas, and embark on their artistic adventures together. Whether you're keen on mastering a new technique, honing your existing talents, or simply wishing to bond with fellow art enthusiasts, the doors of ART 321 are always open to you.

Intro to Drawing Comics & Manga

8-12 Years
April 27th, 4-week session

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

The Comics & Manga Creators Club is led by Ben Bates, a professional comic artist who has contributed to projects for Marvel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, bringing industry experience and creative insight to this class.

Each participant will create their own 4-panel comic strip.

At the end of the class, projects will be printed in a collected format and shown at a pop-up gallery show on June 4th.
Students will also receive a printed copy of the collected format! All materials are included and a kit will be theirs to keep after the session!

Drawing Comics & Manga Ongoing Group

Every MONDAY starting April 27th

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Join fellow creators every MONDAY at our Comics & Manga Group!

This weekly meetup gives participants the chance to draw, create, and share comics and manga in a welcoming, collaborative space. Whether you’re just starting out or already working on your own projects, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with others who love the art of storytelling through comics and manga.

The group is led by professional comic artist Ben Bates, whose work includes projects for Marvel, DC, IDW, Dark Horse, and Archie. Ben will be on hand to offer guidance, feedback, and brainstorming support as you develop your ideas and artwork.

Clay Collective

  • Our instructor is present during studio hours to assist you.

  • You don’t need to bring anything with you, just yourself, all other supplies are provided.

Mixed Media Mayhem

FREE FOR EVERYONE!
Tuesdays, 5:30p – 7:30p
​Facilitators: Heather Watson and Kathy Dilgarde

  • No Rules. Just Fun.

  • Come hang out with us, and bring any mixed media project you want to work on, or we'll have something to inspire you with.

  • This group is more collaborative and less of a formal class.

Home School Art

Led by an art educator, this semester-long program provides a structured yet engaging arts class!

Wednesdays
1:30p - 2:30p

Curriculum aligned with school standards, students will:

  • Master fundamental art techniques

  • Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Gain confidence in their artistic abilities

  • Create a portfolio of finished art projects

  • Learn to write insightful artist statements

  • Culminate the course with a thrilling art exhibit

Wednesday Night Beginner Sculpting

Join professional artist and MudSlinger, Toby Wayne Larson, for an introductory clay sculpting class held every Wednesday night.

Whether you’re interested in sculpting animals, abstract forms, or the human figure, Toby will guide you through the basics from start to finish.

  • Each week, group leader Ellen Black will introduce an activity designed to stretch your imagination and engage you creatively within a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment.

  • You can also sign up for a 30-minute private session during the regular 10:00 a.m. - noon time frame.

  • Open sessions, no need to register in advance
