Weekly Classes & Groups
Here, at Art321, we offer weekly classes for Clay, Mixed Media, and Watercolor, as well as, classes for Teens, Children, and Members of our Community with Disabilities!
These classes & groups are a platform for artists to bond, share ideas, and embark on their artistic adventures together. Whether you're keen on mastering a new technique, honing your existing talents, or simply wishing to bond with fellow art enthusiasts, the doors of ART 321 are always open to you.

Kids Intro to Drawing Comics & Manga
Ages 8-12 Mondays 4:00-5:00PM Wednesdays 1:30-2:30PM $10
Ages 13-17 Mondays 5:15-6:15PM $10
The Comics & Manga Creators Club is led by Ben Bates, a professional comic artist who has contributed to projects for Marvel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, bringing industry experience and creative insight to this class.
Bring your own supplies or purchase one of our Comics & Manga Kits in the ART321 Supply Shop.

Join fellow creators every MONDAY at our Comics & Manga Group!
This weekly meetup gives participants the chance to draw, create, and share comics and manga in a welcoming, collaborative space. Whether you’re just starting out or already working on your own projects, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with others who love the art of storytelling through comics and manga.
The group is led by professional comic artist Ben Bates, whose work includes projects for Marvel, DC, IDW, Dark Horse, and Archie. Ben will be on hand to offer guidance, feedback, and brainstorming support as you develop your ideas and artwork.

Mixed Media Mayhem
FREE FOR EVERYONE!
Tuesdays, 5:30p – 7:30p
Facilitators: Heather Watson and Kathy Dilgarde
No Rules. Just Fun.
Come hang out with us, and bring any mixed media project you want to work on, or we'll have something to inspire you with.
This group is more collaborative and less of a formal class.
Home School Art
Led by an art educator, this semester-long program provides a structured yet engaging arts class!
Wednesdays
1:30pm - 2:30pm Fall Semester: September 9, 2026 - November 18, 2026 Spring Semester: January 6, 2027 - April 18, 2027
Curriculum aligned with school standards, students will:
Master fundamental art techniques
Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Gain confidence in their artistic abilities
Create a portfolio of finished art projects
Learn to write insightful artist statements
Culminate the course with a thrilling art exhibit

Wednesday Night Beginner Sculpting
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Join professional artist and MudSlinger, Toby Wayne Larson, for an introductory clay sculpting class held every Wednesday night.
Whether you’re interested in sculpting animals, abstract forms, or the human figure, Toby will guide you through the basics from start to finish.

Friday Lunch Break Junk Journal Club
Fridays | 12:00–1:00 PM | Starting June 12th $5 per session
Bring your own sack lunch
Take a creative break in the middle of your day and join us for an hour of junk journaling, collage, paper play, and community! Bring your own brown bag lunch and spend your Friday lunch hour creating with fellow paper lovers.
Bring your favorite ephemera, paper scraps, stickers, scissors, glue, journals, or any collage materials you love working with. Don’t have supplies? No problem! Participants can purchase junk journal kits and journals from our Supply Shop and will also have access to ART321’s mixed media supplies during the session.
Whether you’re an experienced journaler or just curious to try something new, everyone is welcome. Come relax, create, and connect in a cozy, creative lunchtime space.
Friday Night Mix-up
Looking for a creative way to kick off your weekend? Join us for Friday Night Mix-Up, a rotating series of hands-on art classes designed for experimentation, creativity, and making alongside community.
Each 2 week session explores a different mixed media process, giving participants the opportunity to learn new techniques, build creative skills, and create one-of-a-kind handmade artwork in a relaxed and welcoming studio environment.
Fridays | 6:00–8:00 PM
$35 per 2-week session
Upcoming Sessions Include:
Paper Making Create beautiful handmade paper using recycled fibers, textures, and inclusions while learning the basics of traditional papermaking techniques.
Twig & Twine Book Binding Turn handmade or specialty papers into a rustic hand-bound journal. Participants may use paper created during a previous papermaking session, bring their own paper, or purchase handmade paper from our studio. Learn simple bookbinding techniques using twine, a twig closure, and decorative blanket stitching to create a functional and unique journal.
Linocut Stamp Printing Make two unique stamp designs, carve, and print your own linocut block onto provided postcards or print on handmade paper created during the papermaking session.
Gelli Plate Printing Experiment with layering, texture, color, and mark-making through playful and expressive monoprint techniques using gelli plates.
Alcohol Ink Basics Discover the vibrant and unpredictable world of alcohol inks. Learn foundational techniques for blending, layering, creating movement, and working with color while exploring the unique effects these highly pigmented inks can achieve. Participants will create several small pieces while building confidence working with this versatile medium on yupo paper.
Watercolor Discovery Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build confidence with watercolor. Learn basic techniques including washes, blending, layering, and color mixing while working through guided watercolor projects. Each participant will receive a mini watercolor kit and watercolor coloring book (a $35 value) to use during class and take home for continued practice.
Whether you’re trying something new or expanding your creative practice, Friday Night Mix-Up is all about exploration, process, and creative community.
