OPEN CALLS

Metamorphosis

What does our 2026 theme mean?

In our 2026 season, themed "Metamorphosis," we invite you to explore the captivating transformations that shape our lives, memories, and identities. This season’s exhibits delve into how we evolve, change, and rediscover ourselves through the lens of nostalgia and personal growth. Shows like "Faded Polaroids" evoke the gentle fading of memories, capturing moments that feel suspended in time, while "Through the Rearview Mirror" offers a reflective journey through life’s pivotal moments and the echoes they leave behind.

Join us as we celebrate the beauty of change, honoring the past while embracing the continuous process of becoming.
We’re looking for featured and upcoming artists to place for these months.

Exhibits will be announced soon!

“Mentoring the Dream”

Art321 is proud to partner with Serve Wyoming in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through the annual AmeriCorps MLK Day of Service. Each year, AmeriCorps members, volunteers, and communities across the nation come together to transform Dr. King’s teachings into action—working toward the “Beloved Community” he envisioned.

This exhibit calls on artists of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels to create art that celebrates the power of:

  • Helping others

  • Working together

  • Building strong, kind communities

  • Dreaming of a better, fairer world

This exhibit will celebrate how small acts of kindness and service can make a big difference. We hope to show that art—just like service—can bring people together and inspire change.

All kinds of art are welcome! Paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, collage, poetry, and more.

Let’s honor Dr. King’s message and show what’s possible when we come together as a community

“Dino Dreams”

Art321 is calling all artists to submit to Dino Dreams, because we never really grew out of our dinosaur phase.

Remember when dinosaurs ruled your lunchbox, your bedsheets, and your imagination? Dino Dreams is a playful, nostalgia-fueled exhibition celebrating everything we loved (and still love) about prehistoric creatures. From Saturday morning cartoons to plastic toys, dino nuggets to Jurassic Park—if it’s got a tail, scales, or tiny T. rex arms, it belongs here.

We’re looking for art that captures the fun, the fantasy, and the fierce obsession with dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes.

  • Cute dinos? Yes.

  • Epic dino battles? Heck yes.

  • Deep metaphorical meaning? Not necessary—but bring it if you’ve got it.

Just make it fun. Make it dino. Make it dreamy.

All mediums are welcome! Painting, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, fiber, mixed media, photography, jewelry, printmaking—if you can make a dino out of it, we want to see it.

This is not a juried exhibition. All work that follows submission guidelines and is professionally presented, will be accepted. All artwork submitted must be delivered ready to display or hang with secure hanging wire. Any frames must be in good condition (no scratches or loose corners). Art321 will not be able to hang works that have improper hanging devices.
